Rusty didn't seek out yoga, yoga found him.  Literally taunted by a friend into trying his first class, he loved the physical challenge of Ashtanga Yoga and felt it was a great balance for weight training.  What an understatement!  His journey from asana (postures/movement) into the deeper aspects of the practice caught him by surprise in the most wonderful, healing, healthy way.  It was a key discovery that massively changed his life for the better and yoga studies have become a true passion.  
He's studied and explored many styles: Ashtanga, Iyengar, Baptiste, Bikram, Kundalini and has studied with many great teachers. His style draws from Power Vinyasa Flow.
It is from the desire to share the many profound benefits of yoga that Rusty approaches teaching.  His mission is to help people find health, stop hurting, and discover their authentic, present self through the unforgettable experience of yoga.  While the rewards are no joke, it's only yoga, after all, and taking it too seriously misses the point.  Rusty loves an energetic, challenging practice synced to great music (but sometimes just the breath) and emphasizes the fun and joy of a safe, injury-free practice.  No trophies awarded for level 3 arm balances but bonus points are definitely earned for laughing at yourself.  Classes are Power Vinyasa Flow - All Levels, modifications offered to meet individual ability, expect to sweat.
