  • Step away from the frenetic pace of life into a sanctuary of peace, beauty, and stillness. Chanoyu, “The Way of Tea”, is a practice that has been cultivated since the 12th Century and invites those in ceremony to become one with the rhythm and beauty of nature. This ancient art is a practice of meditation, sense perception, and deep awareness. The Tea Ceremony helps us to discover the wisdom of nature when we allow ourselves to slow down and enjoy the beauty and simplicities of living.

    This is a meditative experience.

  • Cacao Ceremony invites you to become one with the rhythm & beauty of nature. This ancient art is a form of meditation, practiced with gentle intentional movement, sense perception, and deep awareness. Aesthetics, nature, silence and stillness are principle elements in a Cacao Ceremony. When we can slow down for a few moments, breathe and BE, we are able to better appreciate the subtleties of beauty all around us.

    If you are looking for a meditative experience that is more than a guided meditation, this would be a nice option. We sit together and enjoy high grade Cacao intentionally sourced directly from a grower in Guatemala, in the form of a rich, delicious “drinkable” chocolate.

  • Meditation is a way to meet yourself in each moment of your life. It is called a "practice" for a reason, as this continual work in process invites us to find clarity, calmness, and acceptance with how and who we are in any given moment. We meet you where you are at in your meditation experience and practice. The experience will begin with a brief introduction into meditation, why it's a good practice to incorporate into your daily lives, how to move through the meditation, and what to expect. After the guided meditation, you will be given tips that are practical and accessible on how to incorporate this powerful practice into your everyday lives. Can take place anywhere on Serenbe Grounds, including conference rooms at the Inn, outdoors, or in our beautiful studio. 15 minute and 30 minute options."   • This unique offering will feature an amazing multi-sensory experience of Sound Bath using the power of sound to bring balance, relaxation, and a sense of well-being to your mind, body, and spirit . Discover the power of sound to transform consciousness, heal the mind, and calm the body. Instruments such as crystal Himalayan sound bowls, chimes, ocean drums, and more will be used to create a calming atmosphere. Offering includes a guided meditation to ease practitioners into the experience. Provided by certified Sound Healer, Heather Ruth.

  • This 1.5 mile guided hike through well manicured trails in the woods of Serenbe will reconnect you to the present, while taking in your peaceful surroundings. Various flora and fauna that can be used for medicinal purposes (the forest as our pharmacy) will be pointed out along the way by your guide, certified herbalist, Heather Ruth, and a brief history of Serenbe and its land will be provided. As we make our way down to a beautiful stream that runs through the woods of Serenbe, we will enjoy some quiet meditative moments taking in our surroundings multi-sensory. The goal is to slow down and become immersed in the natural environment by engaging all senses: smell. touch, taste, and sight.

  • In Serenbe for a company retreat, or a getaway? Try Goat Yoga for a fun, unique experience! Girl’s Getaway? Birthday Celebration? Bachelorette or Wedding Party? It's an amazing way to create lasting memories for all special occasions. Goat yoga is yoga practiced amongst sweet Nigerian Dwarf goats. Every class is a new experience, as the goats tend to be the stars of the show. Goats are considered to be one of the best emotional support animals, and we promise you will leave this class feeling a little more light-hearted, calm, and joyful. This is an all-levels class, no previous yoga experience required. This class is held outdoors, therefore weather permitting. Please read through details including age requirements HERE.

  • Relax in a silk aerial hammock, supported in a womb-like cocoon that lends the sense of floating carelessly through the clouds. You will be gently guided into a quiet meditative space and enjoy a soothing Sound Bath including crystal healing sound bowls, rain sticks, chimes, and ocean drums. A unique, relaxing, and restorative experience.

  • A labyrinth is not a maze, but a walking meditation device with a single winding path from the edge to the center. There are no tricks, choices or dead ends in a labyrinth walk. The same path is used to return to the outside. Combining a number of even older symbols, including the circle, spiral and meander, the labyrinth represents the journey inward to our own true selves and back out into the everyday world.

    Walking a labyrinth is a right brain activity (creative, intuitive, imaginative), and can induce or enhance a contemplative or meditative state of mind. It is a tool which can clear the mind, calm our anxieties during periods of transition and stress, guide healing, deepen self-knowledge, enhance creativity, allow for reconciliation, restore feelings of belonging to a community, and lead to personal and spiritual growth.

    For many walkers the labyrinth becomes a metaphor for the journey of life: full of twists and turns, each of us is on a single path through his or her life, yet each person's journey is a separate and distinct qualitative experience.

  • Aerial Yoga is a beautiful blend of movement, breath, and play. This class uses an aerial hammock to support and assist traditional yoga poses, inversions, and aerial dance. We focus our classes on fundamentals of aerial yoga and together work our way up to more advanced poses. Our goal with each class is to find flow, comfort, and trust in your aerial hammock. With each class you will begin creating strength, flexibility, and balance in the body. A unique, fun playful experience.

  • Vinyasa is a unique style of yoga where postures are linked together in a continuous, challenging, and creative flow that combines strength and flexibility while toning the body and clearing the mind. Students are encouraged to move at their own pace with intention and to listen to their bodies as they explore their own edge and discover inner strength.

  • Complete with essential oils, light touch Thai massage, and relaxing music. This class will relax the mind, body, and soul. Yin Yoga focuses on the connective tissues of the body through postures that are held in stillness and mindful awareness for several minutes at a time. A perfect complement to more yang styles of exercise (such as flow yoga, running, skiing or biking), Yin Yoga addresses tightness and toxin buildup in the joints and connective tissue through poses that are equally challenging for the mind and body. The result is not only more lubricated and flexible joints, but also a greater sense of balance, peace, and calm. Props make the practice accessible to people of all abilities This is an all levels class, appropriate for beginners and advanced alike.

  • This gentle yoga class is created specifically for those who sit in meetings, at desks, on planes, trains, and in automobiles for long hours each day. Unwind the body and the mind as you are guided through postures that encourage release in the neck, shoulders, hips, and hamstrings. All the places that tend to tighten from long days.

  • Each Kundalini Yoga class will include beautiful mantras, spinal flow movements, a specific Kriya (an intentional sequence for the practice), breath work and meditation. Enjoy a gong sound bath savasana at the end. Kundalini Yoga practice gives you a total experience, an energy shift and feeling of elevation, expansion & connection. All levels welcome.

  •  Mindful flow is where breath, body, and mind find connection. This non-heated class is a wonderful offering that includes mindfulness, movement, and centering. You will be guided through foundational yoga poses, and encouraged to meet yourself and your practice where you are, with plenty of modifications offered. All levels welcome
